Louisville Orchestra To Present "Holiday Pops"

The Louisville Orchestra will perform a "Holiday Pops" concert under the baton of guest conductor Erich Kunzel on December 2, at 8 p.m. at Louisville Gardens. Also appearing in this third concert of the Yellowstone Superpops series will be The Louisville Chorus, Richard Sowers, music director.

"Holiday Pops" promises to provide holiday cheer, with Mr. Kunzel conducting several holiday favorites, including Anderson's "Sleigh Ride," the joyous Ukrainian "Carol of the Bells" and a special number featuring seven local celebrities. And to top things off, there will be a Christmas sing-along and a visit from Santa.

Tickets range from $5 to $24 and can be purchased by calling Louisville Gardens at (502) 589-9070. Group sales and subscriptions information may be obtained by calling The Louisville Orchestra office at (502) 589-8681.
