December Showcase

The December Showcase at the Rudyard Kipling Restaurant will feature an interesting mix of Co-opers. Marie Augustine has assembled a new group, the Marie Augustine Ensemble, with Marie handling vocals and guitar, Steve May on violin, John Thornberry on bass and Michelle Gossman on additional vocals. Erin Delaney will sign.

Dan Gediman will make his first appearance on the Showcase. Gediman plays with Something Big and works for WFPL / WFPK radio, handling producer. engineer and on-air chores.

Susanne Wood makes one of her infrequent appearances on the Showcase stage. She will be accompanied by Frank Maguire. Wood is noted for her powerful pipes and political songs. She has been gigging of late at Hudson's.

Claude Wayne returns to the Showcase with some newly developed and well-polished humor. After a short gig with the Grand Theater in New Albany, Claude has gone back to working on new impressions and jokes with his "sidekick," Cousin Mini Minnie. He will also do his tribute to Loretta Lynn.

The Showcase starts at 9 p.m. promptly and runs until midnight. Tickets for L.A.S.C. members are only $2. Non-members must pay an additional dollar.
