Rock Album to Benefit Abuse Center

Four Louisville-based rock groups have recently joined together as M.U.C.C. – Musicians United for a Cool Christmas – and have released a four-song cassette EP titled Yule Rules!

The four bands represented are Something Big with "Last Call for Mistletoe," One Red Romeo with "Daddy-O's Christmas Morning," Mrs. Frazier with "Long Cold Winter" and Exploding Veils with "It's Christmas!" All are original songs written by the band members.

Proceeds from the sale of the tapes will go to the YWCA Spouse Abuse Center to help provide Christmas cheer for the residents.

Yule Rules! is available from several local record and bookstores, including Ear-X-tacy, Disc Jockey Records, Better Days, Recordhead, Mother's, Ken's, Hawley-Cooke Booksellers (both locations), Pages and Pages, Vogue Theatre and Electric Ladyland. B A Benefit/Release party featuring all four bands was held on Saturday, November 25, at Uncle Pleasant's, 2126 S. Preston St.
