1994 Showcases Scheduled

The first Songwriter Showcase of 1994 will be held at the Rudyard Kipling Restaurant, 422 W. Oak, on Saturday, March 5, 1994. It'll start at 9:00 p.m. and wrap up at midnight. Can you think of a better way to share your original tunes than among friends and fellow songwriters in a warm, casual, small-venue atmosphere?

Three thirty-to-forty-minute slots are still open for this Showcase. If you'd like to sign up for one of them, please call Jonathan Miller at 569-2532 (work) or 244-9717 (home) by Friday, Feb. 11. (If you don't, the Showcase will, by popular request, feature Jonathan, Jonathan, Jonathan and Jonathan. That would be okay with Jonathan but we really prefer variety in voices, songs, instrumentation and musical styles.)

Another Showcase has also been scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 6. Two additional dates, June 4 and Oct. 1, have been requested from the Rudyard's Kenny Pyle. If we get these dates, we'll have four Songwriter Showcases in 1994.
