Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares versus Goober & the Peas

One potato, two potato, three potato, four. Goober and the Peas or Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares?

Fortunately, it wasn't necessary to employ this childhood method of decision-making to determine whether to attend the former at Snagilwet (Tewligans) or the latter at the Kentucky Center for the Arts.

Goober & the Peas will be bringing their "psycho-cowboy rock 'n' roll" band to town on Friday, March 15, to open for Bodeco, while, the ' Grammy-winning Bulgarian State Female Vocal Choir will perform as part of the Lonesome Pine Specials series at the Bomhard Theater on Friday, March 29.

The publicity for Goober was so inviting (an envelope of hay – at least I think it was hay – was enclosed), as was that for the Bulgarian Choir (many positive reviews) that I think I'll try to catch 'em both.
