Violinist Mark Peskanov to Replace Midori in December MasterWorks
Due to a scheduling conflict, violinist Midori has been replaced in the MasterWorks series scheduled for December 6, 7 and 8 by Russian violinist Mark Peskanov.
The orchestra will be conducted by new Resident Conductor Albert-George Schram. The previously announced repertoire, featuring Sibelius Violin Concert in D Minor, Nielsen's "Helios" Overture and Prokofiev Symphony No. 5 will be presented.
Ticket prices range from $7 to $21 and may be purchased from the Kentucky Center Ticket Service at (502) 584-7777.
