Songwriter Opportunities
Banns Music Service is having an original song-on-video contest with $1,000 in cash and prizes. The deadline is April 30, 1991. For free information send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Banns Music, P.O. 96SW, Elmo, Utah 84521.
The Songwriters Guild of America will present "Whole-Brain Creativity," an experiential workshop for songwriters and publishers, conducted by Sheila Davis, author of The Craft of Lyric Writing, on Saturday, December 8, from 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. at Belmont College in Nashville, Tenn. The workshop promises to expand your creativity with visualization, rhythm, rhyme, music and art.
Tuition for SGA members is $50 in advance and $65 at the door; non- members pay S60 and S75, respectively.
