Benefit At Yogi's

Sunday, May 30th, there was a benefit concert at Yogi's in the Bon Air Manor shopping center, featuring Triad, Rough Draft and King Cotton. Just missed Triad, but understand they do covers of '60s trios like C.S.N. Rough Draft performed covers of larger '60s groups in addition to Led Zeppelin, Z.Z. Top and other rockers. King Cotton played music from the same era but really excelled on blues-flavored tunes.

Yogi's is kind of a weird place for music, what with pool tables and games on both sides of the stage, but the owner and the employees are congenial folks who try to make you feel at home whether it's your first time there or your 50th.
