Celts Invade Swiss Park
By Dallas Embry
Tom Scheidt and Rick Fannin were back in town recently at Swiss Park, where they entertained for about four hours on Mother's Day.
Playing a mix of Irish, Scottish and American folk tunes interspersed with wry commentary and bizarre rambling conversation as only they can do it, they were as energetic and entertaining as ever, especially when a little girl asked them to play some "Guns 'N Roses" or "Poison."
It was really good to see the guys again, and, as always, they thoroughly entertained me.
