August Membership Meetings

Our speaker was unable to be with us for the August 7th meeting, so new member Mike Stites was kind enough to let us put him on the spot to tell us about his studio in Salem, Indiana. Mike is co-owner, with Artie Sands, of ARTEC, a 16 track Tascam, 12 track AKAI studio. They went together to create this 28 track studio, located at 205 W. Market in Salem, last November. In that short time, they have already involved themselves in song publishing and video production, including sound and lighting. Mike said they are willing to work individually regarding rates with anyone interested in making a demo at their studio. For anyone interested in finding out more about ARTEC, you may call them at 812-883-2111. Thanks again, Mike, for letting us prevail on you!!

The August 21st meeting was another successful critique session. Hang in there, all you songwriters!! Together, our songs get better every day!
