The online publication of earlier editions of Louisville Music News will continue as the year goes forward.

Owsley Brown Presents has been putting together a series of videos under the title of "Music Makes A City," from the long-form documentary of the same name. The latest episode features video from an event at The Tim Faulkner Gallery, which featured LO music director Teddy Abrams and a number of musicians from other genres, including Bonnie "Prince" Billy, University of Louisville chamber orchestra, Tiny Elephant, Kyle James Hauser, A Lion Named Roar and 1200.

According to a report in the Courier-Journal, AC Entertainment, the producer of the Forecastle Festival, has agreed to stage the festival on the Louisville Waterfront for the next five years. The 2015 Forecastle Festival will be held on July 17-19, wtih lineup of acts set to be announced on Tuesday, January 27. Weekend passes will go on sale on January 30, and the other ticket information is available at the event website, Forecastlefest.com.

Stevie Wonder has added the KFC Yum! Center to his "Songs In The Key Of Life Performance" Tour. He will appear on March 27. Citi® cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 10:00 a.m. local time through Citi's Private Pass® Program. Tickets for ordinary schmucks to the Louisville show go on sale on Saturday, January 24 at 10:00 a.m. at www.Livenation.com, www.Ticketmaster.com, the KFC Yum! The 9th Annual Itchin' to Pick happens at the Galt House on March 27 and 28. Bluegrass pickers from all over will arrive for a couple of days of nothin' but pickin.' A $5 donation is requested. Tune your guitars, mandolins, banjos and fiddles and get ready.

Codas

Heath, John – 65, died in Louisville on January 19, 2015. He was a songwriter, publisher and singer. One of his songs was in the Canadian film "Copper Mountain."

Morton, Kenneth L., 65, died in Louisville in January, 2015. He was a bassist with The Enterprize Show Band.
