Hey moshers, what's up! Read on for the latest news.

· Listen up, metalheads - Inhuman is back with it's original lineup after a six month hiatus. Here are some of their upcoming shows: April 16 at the Toy Tiger with Faceplant and Luther and May 9 and 10 at Bullseye's, with other bands to be announced. Rumor has it Inhuman will also be playing their annual Derby party. I've heard some of the new material and it's raw, so don't miss these shows!!

• Lots of local metal was heard during the month of March. Stoneflesh, Faceplant, and Crazy Train all played at the Toy Tiger in early March. Also, Creed and Faceplant played at the Flashback mid-month.

• Hope everyone got to see the Korn/Helmet show at the Brewery. Please see my review in this issue.

• Got a kind of quickie review for ya here - I received a tape of three songs from a band called Supersonic Butterfly. Having not heard of the band before and the name not really telling a lot about the band, I was interested in hearing the tape. I can sum it up for you in three words - this band rocks!

Several styles of heavy music are displayed on this tape, starting off with "Dead to Me," which is just raw; "All in Love," which has a heavy, slightly alternative sound, and "Shut Up," which has a hip hop/rap feel to it, but which won't disappoint fans of metal. Unfortunately, this tape only has three songs on it, but it definitely leaves you wanting to hear more! If anyone hears of these guys playing out, I'd suggest going to the show. Like I said before - they rock!

That's all the news I've got for now. The weather is getting warmer and the smell of heavy music is in the air - ain't life grand?!! More news next month. Support local metal! See ya….
