Hope you’re all vaccinated and ready to head out to catch some live music…..well, maybe a little, since the bigger shows take longer to put together and we just don’t know what will happen with various clubs that are still on the thin edge. Besides, the CDC only advises small groups, such as immediate family, which is pretty much where we were.
Anyway, get yourself a plan, warm up on your instrument(s) and let’s see if we can get this business on the road. Yours truly continues to do vocal warm-ups every day. Perhaps one day….

Theodore “Ted” Bickel, Sr. 92 Died on March 15, 2021. He was a singer with a number of different groups, and performed in more than 25 productions of the Mummers and Minstrels. He was also a member of the Silver Notes.
Charles Miller “Music Man” Walls, 72, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Springfield, died at 8:35 a.m., Monday, March 30, 2020, at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born Dec. 15, 1947, in Lebanon to Charles N. and Juanita Miller Walls. He was a 1965 graduate of Springfield High School. He was well known for his vast knowledge of sound technology, having operated a music recording studio for 40 years. He and his wife, Sandra, owned and operated the former Blue Grass Entertainment and Expo Center in Bardstown.
