The Louisville Bach Society's season opens on October 14 with a Louisville premiere of Handel's stirring score, "Alexander's Feast," with text by John Dryden. Guest soloists William Hite, tenor and Soprano Kendra Colton will join Antoinette Hardin, mezzo-soprano and Alexander Redden, Baritone, for the performance at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 531 E. Liberty at 3 p.m.

On December 9 at Calvary Episcopal, (821 S. 4^th) the Society will present Bach's "Christmas Oratorio" with Jeffrey Price as the Evangelist. On December 16-17, the Bach Society will again offer Handel's "Messiah" at Second Presbyterian Church

The 2002 schedule opens at 3 p.m. on February 17 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Bach's "St. John's Passion." Randall Black returns as the Evangelist; David Berger will sing the role of Jesus and Steven Spears, Antoinette Harding Mary Wilson Redden and Alexander Redden will round out the cast.

The season closes with "David the King." Rabbi Chester Diamond will serve as narrator for the 3 p.m. performance on April 14 at the Paul W. Ogle Center at Indiana University Southeast
