Five full days of seminars; hands-on criticism; feedback from super songwriters; publisher info; copyrighting and more. Dates are August 7-12, 1989. Place: Warren Wilson College, Swannanoa, North Carolina.

If you receive your Louisville Music News a little bit early, you may still have time to take advantage of the Third Annual Songwriter's Weekend at Barren River State Resort Park in Lucas, Ky.

The dates are March 31 through April 1, and things get underway at 8:00 p.m. CST on Friday. Reservations for lodging can be made by calling 1-800-325-0057.

L.A.S.C. members John Gage and Alan Rhody will host the weekend activities, which include open stage concerts, a critique session and a BMI licensing and publishing workshop.

As of this writing, several Co-opers plan to attend the Songwriter's Weekend.
