Falk Studio Engineers

David Blythe has been a Falk's for a couple of years, following a sting as audio engineer at Allen-Martin Productions, another local studio. As the studio engineer, Blythe also acts as a producer and often assists performers who need a little direction in the studio. His musical background includes playing the guitar and the banjo. He played with rock and roll bands while in college studying electrical engineering.

In addition to his engineering, Blythe adds yet another dimension to Falk's business, as he is the owner of an independent record label, Big Ole Records, which handles distribution for some of the tapes and records prodcued at Falk's. Big Ole has only been around for a couple of years, but already has had the sort of success that independents are often "blessed" with, an album project that resulted in the band being picked up by a major label.

Tim Haertel has a Bachelor's in Communications from the University of Louisville. His audio experience includes radio production work at WUOL, on-location recording with Falk, metal plate mastering at the American Printing House for the Blind, and studo engineering with both Falk and Allen-Martin Productions
