"Born To Boogie"

Hank Williams Jr. brought his Bama Band to the Kentucky State Fair on August 16 for a performance in Freedom Hall. Although Hank sings 'All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down,' a scant handful of fans apparently hadn't head or merely wanted to carry on the 'Family Tradition.' Our intrepid Fair reporter, Karen Le Van, suggested that Hank Jr. should change consider changed his band's band to the 'Bama-Lou Band' since three of its member are local lads — Ray Barrickman, Tony Bowles and Michael Murphy. 'They really had Freedom Hall in a frenzy Le Van said.'
