Hit Makers '91

The Seminar is solidly on track and we think that it will be an excellent opportunity to make some of those good connections. A number of writers from Atlanta, Virginia and Illinois have already registered.

If you are a last minute kind of person, you can register as late as the day of the event. The registration desk will be open most of the day.

PLEASE READ THIS: Bring a tape with one song on it for the critique session. Put your name, address and phone number on the tape. Type the lyric sheet.

Bring a second tape with one song on it for the pitch session. Put your name, address and phone number on it. Type the lyric sheet.

Before you come, check to make sure that both tapes are cued up and listen to them to make sure the recording is clear and clean.

Got it? Be professional.

A few changes since the last issue:

John Briggs will be representing ASCAP.

Hunter Moore, a songwriter who plays often at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, will be on the panel.

Richard Helm, Lisa Palas and Tony Hazelton have sent regrets. Replacements are being arranged for.

See you there! Bring an instrument.
