Bands Needed for November Industry Showcase

The LASC is seeking bands to perform on its November 1993 showcase, Hit Makers '93. The Showcase presents label-ready acts and songs to music industry professionals.

interested bands must live in Kentucky or in a state that shares a border with Kentucky: Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Illinois, Ohio and Missouri.

Acts must be willing to listen to material from members of the LASC and perform at least three such songs on the Showcase. A fee will be charged to defray expenses.

The LASC's Hit Makers '92 Showcase at Jim Porter's Good Time Emporium in November of 1992 was attended by Artist & Repertoire (A&R) staff from Liberty, PolyGram and Warner Bros Records, several music publisher's representatives, representatives from the three major performing rights organizations (ASCAP, SESAC, l§Ml) and various artist management and promotion companies.

Interested bands should submit a cassette tape containing three songs to the LASC by May 31. For additional information and Showcase guidelines, write to: LASC, P. O. Box 16, Pewee Valley, KY 40056.
