WFPL Sets "Local Production Week"
for Aug. 15-22

WFPL FM has scheduled a week full of broadcasts of locally produced radio programs, including both live and taped shows. There will be specials and rebroadcasts on all locally produced shows, with interviews, live performance recordings, and various programs produced locally.

Live tapings during the week will begin with a live broadcast on Sunday, August 15, of "Sunday Bluegrass," with a concert featuring Kentuckiana Grass, Gary Brewer and the Kentucky Ramblers, the Schmitt Family and the Reynolds Family. The show will be broadcast from the 1st Unitarian Church. Also of note for local music fans are "Audioasis," "Saturday Night Blues Party," and "Flipside," all of which will feature locally recorded music.

For jazz fans, there will be interviews all week long on "Jazz Today," and profiles and interviews on "Impressions."

Also scheduled for broadcast is an episode of "Down to Earth" with Cameron Lawrence, featuring the Cat Lady from the Cincinnati zoo.
