No musical harmonies are more beautiful and magical than those created by the loving bond between family members. This is definitely the case with Laura, Beth, and Brigit Spratt, better known as Kentucky Sisters. This musical wildfire was sparked by the trio singing harmony with their parents while gathered around the piano in the family's living room, and led to the lovely threesome delighting their local church while yet children.

Just one listen to Kentucky Sisters' self-titled debut album and you'll hear the distinct musical influences of The Judds, Patsy Cline, and Reba McEntire all rolled into one, bursting with musical flavor and character. Each sister possesses a sweet, yet unique voice which, when blended with the other two, creates charming and angelic alto and soprano vocal harmonies to warm the coldest heart.

This fine collection of eight genuinely heartfelt country tunes doesn't contain a single sour note. Highlights include the catchy up-tempo "A Little Bit Of You," which will have you singing along upon first listen; the bittersweet "Hurtin'," which was penned by Kentucky Sisters along with mother Susan; and the peppy "Show Me What You Got."

Kentucky Sisters harmony is so powerful that the listener's ear is almost completely distracted from the fine instrumentation accompanying the three pure voices. If Kentucky Sisters' live show possesses even half the power and energy of this album, these hometown girls are going to do more than their part to keep the Bluegrass State on country's musical map.
