5. To the Rudyard Kipling: Your sessions and shows are mighty. May you prosper in all your endeavors! Stay the course!

6. To Twice Told Coffeehouse: More Celtic music!

7. To Tight Squeeze: Resurrection please!

8. To Drowsy Maggie: Now there's a resurrection for you! Keep on "kickin' their butts!"

10. Wake up media! There are great musical assets in this town: Louisville Pipe Band, Louisville Mandolin Orchestra, Mark Cannon and Ten Penny Bit, Kimble Howard.... Pay attention!

The Immortal Memory

The Scottish Society of Louisville presents its 6th annual Burns Night in honor of the poet laureate of Scotland, Robert Burns, on Saturday, January 31. A full evening of Scottish dining (including a wee dram of single malt scotch for the toasts) and entertainment is yours for $30.00 per person. No tickets will be available at the door, so call (502) 266-0985 for your reservations. The highlight of the evening WILL BE a performance by the Louisville Pipe Band. All the prior events have been splendid occasions. Rock puts this at the top of the list of must-do's for the year.

Ursuline School of Music and Drama

Galloglas will be performing in concert to benefit the Ursuline School of Music and Drama. Support this worthy cause with your ticket($10) reservations by calling 897-1816.

The concert will include a cameo appearance by top Louisville Pipe Band piper, Patrick Benningfield. Mark you calendars for Saturday, January 17, 1998, at 8 p.m. in the Ursuline Auditorium (Building #5) at 3105 Lexington Road.
