Iron Monkey
By Brent Starkey
Iron Monkey appear to be composed of mass-murdering Satan-worshippers. Actually, the singer sounds like Satan himself : "I'd take you and fatten you, warmth supplied from hell's deep anus / Dirty mind, rotten sight, 4 walls molten, earthen drum, f***in' retard serpent, rind of lice" ("Shrimp Fist"). The Sabbath riffs are spot - on, but Lucifer's indecipherable vocals are beyond annoying. I must sing praise to the evil one for keeping this down to six songs. I couldn't have sat through 666 (or even 7). Do I like it ? See last sentence of Napalm Death review.
