Louisville Youth Orchestra to Present "Breakfast With Santa" Concert

"The Louisville Youth Orchestra will have a full, vigorous sound this season," according to music conductor/director Daniel Spurlock, who relates that the orchestra has increased by 25%.

On Saturday, December 2, at 9:15 a.m., the young musicians will perform a children's holiday concert at Derby Dinner Playhouse in Jeffersonville, Ind.

The ticket price of $4 (advance) and $5 (at the door) will include a cold breakfast at 8:30 a.m., the concert, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and a gift for each child.

Spurlock is especially pleased with the programming for the concert. "It's always exciting for musicians to perform before live audiences, but it is especially exciting for young musicians to play for their peers," he said.
