Holiday Program to Open the Louisville Orchestra 1989-90 Family Series

The Louisville Orchestra, under the direction of guest conductor Adrian Gnam, will present a holiday concert at Whitney Hall, Kentucky Center for the Arts, on Saturday, December 9, at 11 a.m.

The Family Series is designed for the enjoyment of families with children ages two to ten. These delightful performances give parents and their children the opportunity to enjoy orchestral music together. The holiday program will combine musical enjoyment with the festivity of Christmas. Featured in this program are a Christmas sing-along, candy canes for the children and a special appearance of Santa and his elves.

Tickets for the "Holiday Program" are available through subscription only. Other Family Series performances included in a 1989-90 subscription are "Ron McCroby, Puccoloist (Whistler)" and "Peanut Heaven: An Arnerican Songbag with Frank Cappelli."
