Shovels & Rope, Tim Easton And The Wild Feathers to come entertain you on the Waterfront. Shovels & Rope, which will hit the stage with a brand-new album, Swimmin' Time, released the day before the show, has played all the cool places in the city, including last year's Forecastle Fest, so they're a big draw, with a fanbase. The Wild Feathers, who also played last year's Forecastle Fest, as well as the recent Waterfront show featuring Willie Nelson and Allison Kraus, is still promoting their eponymous debut album, but with the company they're keeping, they should be well on the way to another one. Singer-songwriter Tim Easton, who is living in Nashville and promoting his 2013 project, Not Cool, hasn't been in town since 2008, so there should be some folks happy to see him return. Plainly, this is a show worth going to see, even if it cost, which it doesn't, since it's a free show. Wheeee!
