The Terrapin Flyers with Melvin Seals and The Allmanacs with Johnny Neel on April 25 for a Tribute to The Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers It's a kind of musical genetic implant, adding former members of each defunct band to a tribute band, layering on a veneer of genuineness. It's kind of like making love to a Marilyn Monroe look-alike who's wearing one of Marilyn's wigs and maybe a pair of her hose.
