Rebelution calls themselves a Cali-reggae band, because they're they play reggae and are from California (which is not exactly known for great reggae, but hey! Things change.) The guys in the group met in college (of course) and set about building a following, releasing an independent EP. Since that modest beginning, they have released four studio albums, including 2014's Count Me In, which is the album they are supporting on the current tour. They'll make their third trip to town with a show at The Mercury Ballroom, along with Common Kings, on  April 18. Tickets are $17.50 adv. $20 DoS.
