The Faces At the Palace Series for November 23 will feature the irrepressible Bodeco,  retro rockabilly act The Ladybirds, plus the Junk Yard Dogs. Anybody who has been around Louisville for any amount of time and has an appreciation for the roots of rock 'n' roll knows about Ricky Feather and Bodeco, the most straight-ahead roots rock / rockabilly act since Gene Vincent and the Bluecaps. In fact, they sometimes act like they are at least channeling Gene Vincent and the Bluecaps. Put that together with the Ladybirds' Sarah Teeple wailing on "Shimmy Shimmy Dang" and it's like old home week in Louisiana in 1956 - with better gear. With the danceable R&B vibe of Junk Yard Dogs, you should just dance yourself silly at this show. In the lobby of the Palace Theatre, for only $10.
