Worldfest on the Belvere kicks off the Labor Day weekend on Friday, August 31.  This is the biggest gathering of world music bands and dancers in the city each year, not to mention all the food and nifty nicknacks you can pick up. Friday's lineup is not as long as Saturday, which starts before noon and runs late. However, on Friday, you can watch  the Nachale Dancers doing Bollywood dance; a world-fusion band called Delhi 2 Dublin, Acoiris Latino, The Ark Band, Al Hamsa & Gypsies Of the Nile, Rolando Matias & The AfronRican Ensemble and Swing 39. On the Belvedere, for free.
