Longtime L.A. indie rock jamband Fishbone, which began life as an all-black band ska/reggae band with horns, but which has had a history of churning through members, will swim into Headliners on September 7. Their history is long; they have influenced many others, including The Roots, whose cover of their "Lyin' Ass Bitch" as an intro to Michelle Bachman during a Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show caused some uproar. they've been around since 1979, so you are likely more familiar with their stuff than you think. Their live show is what keeps them in business. Tickets are $15.
