Despite the fact that the Electric Six is classified as a "genre-blurring band", they are still regarded as a dance band, with most of their chart success in the U.S. happening on the Dance chart. Of course, like most electric bands in the Aughts, they mix a little of a number of styles together, including disco, punk rock, metal and glam, among others. They also disguise themselves with a variety of silly, in not downright absurd, stage names. With influences ranging from Kiss to Queen to Devo, you might have a handle on their overall tone. Wear a costume and serviceable dance shoes if you go to the November 4 show at Headliners. Little Hurricanes opens. Tickets are $12.
