If you aren't heading downtown to Forecastle Fest, there's a Nappy Roots show at the Phoenix Hill Tavern on July 14. Bowling Green's favorite rapper sons are touring sans Big V, who just announced that he was going his own way. Nevertheless, it appears that the Roots gang is used to working without him already, so this shouldn't be a problem. They're still touring to support if Nappy Dot Org, so in case you haven't heard them do that live, this is your chance. Tickets are only $10. Can't beat that deal.
