A very late booking at Uncle Slayton's brings the multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter Maia Sharp to town for a show on June 22, with Leigh Ann Yost opening. Sharp hasn't been to town since she played a "Live Lunch" in August 2009, when she was promoting the release of Echo. She has another project to play for you, Change The Ending, which has just been released. A number of WFPK listeners will remember her for Fine Upstanding Citizen, which yielded "Fall Like Margarite"and "Red Dress," both of which got some airplay. Tickets are a trivial $8.
