Louisville's most famous Sixties-era band, The Monarchs, will play a show at Derby Dinner Playhouse on November 5, titled "A Tribute To Rock, Rhythm & Doo Wop." Of course, the guys are as old as their fans, but they still manage to get that old sound - perhaps somewhat deeper - together on songs like "Look Homeward Angel", "This Old Heart" and "The Great American Rock 'n' Roll Dream." As well, they have a relatively new Christmas album, just in time for Christmas. It's a proverbial stroll down Memory Lane, which is off Grinstead Drive, just past the water company. Check with the Playhouse for ticket info.
