Like far too many bands, Buckcherry's history has been up-and-down, with early success wit hits "Lit Up", "For the Movies", "Dead Again" and "Check Your Head," followed by a dissolution, followed by reformation, after which they had a hit with "Crazy Bitch." They were last here in February 2011 at Expo 5, headlining the Jagermeister Music Tour. They'll kick off the Phoenix Hill Tavern's "Mother Of All Derby Week Parties" on Tuesday, May 1, just in time for the release of their new album, Avengers Assemble. Are you ready for... eh ... it's Derby Week. Rock 'em if you got 'em.
