The, um, irrepressible David Allen Coe, he of "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" and "Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone)" stops by Louisville every now and then, playing at a variety of venues over the years. His "biker chic" vibe puts some folks off, as do his political views for other. Nevertheless, the 73-year-old can still rock 'n' roll. He'll be at  Jim Porter's on May 11, with Muench, Bluestown and Trick Nickel playing after him on the various stages. Check with Porter's for the ticket price.
