WFPK's Waterfront Wednesday for May happens on the 30th on the Big Four Lawn in Waterfront Park and will feature the American Celtic band The Elders, described as playing "thrilling, propulsive, fantastic Celtic-pop" or maybe "Celtic Rock"; Ohio singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur, noted for his use of distortion, various effects pedals and looping (using a number of rack-mounted units of the Lexicon JamMan) in his live show and Louisville's funky folk-rockers The Vessel. The Elders have a new CD, Wanderin' Life And Times; Arthur has a new CD, Redemption City. Altogether, this should be an interesting mix to hang out on the Big Four Lawn and listen to. It's a free show, of course.
