WFPK's Waterfront Wednesday shows are generally excellent with respect to the acts that are booked. The June 27 show is a notch above the usual however, with Trampled by Turtles, The Walkmen and These United States set to grace the stage at the Big Four Lawn. With two back-to-back #1 albums, Palomino and the just-released Stars and Satellites, TBT clearly gets top billing but The Walkmen are headliners as well, having seven albums under their belts, including the brand-new Heaven, though none of them has reached the top spot to date. These United States has been following the tour route to the top, releasing five albums since 2008, while sharpening their live chops. There is no way that this will not be an amazing show and best of all, it's free. Get there early for a good seat.
