Former Kentuckian Mark Charles Heidinger, who gigs under the name Vandaveer (along with Rose Guerin, sometimes), will come back to town for a show at Uncle Slayton's on April 29. A client on the burgeoning Crash Avenue list, Vandaveer has collected a string of comparisons to other singer-songwriters, including Dylan and Tom Wait,s plus he has played with These United States and the Apparitions. His musical wanderlust aside, Vandaveer has a growing fanbase both around the country and here in Derby City. His latest is Dig Down Deep. Tickets are $10 adv/$12 Dos.
