Joel Henderson has been working on his new project Locked Doors & Pretty Fences for some time and the release show is set for April 20 at Uncle Slayon's, with Alanna Fugate. Heidi Gluck also on the bill. He assembled quite a band for the CD and show: Ric Hordinski (Over the Rhine, Daniel Martin Moore, Victoria Williams) on guitar; Byron House (Robert Plant’s Band of Joy, Buddy Miller, Patti Griffin) on bass; Heidi Gluck (Juliana Hatfield’s all-girl band Some Girls, The Pieces) on guitar and other toys; Dan Dorff (Daniel Martin Moore, Jim James) on drums and Bill Mallers (Carrie Newcomer) on piano, Rhodes and Hammond B3.He's also playing WFPK's "Live Lunch the same day, so you have plenty of chances to hear the new stuff.
