What happens to punk rockers when they get old? One answer is Pierced Arrows, a Portland-based trio consisting of Fred and Toody Cole of the country-punk band Dead Moon (1987 to 2006) and drummer Kelly Halliburton. No
doubt there are some Tewligans veterans who can relate to the desire to
never give up on the music, no matter how hard of hearing you get.
Anyway, Pierced Arrows has an album, Descending Shadows, from 2010 and maybe a new single. They'll play music from both at Headliners on May 16, along with Louisville supergroup Old Baby and Don't. Tickets are $18, since it's a long damned drive from Portland to Louisville.
