I suppose if you start a band in high school and are, naturally, music
geeks, the only logical name would be something like Stillwater,
Oklamona's The All American Rejects,
who began their career while they were still in high school. They
released their first eponymous album in 2001, with the platinum-selling
single "Swing, Swing" hitting the scene in late 2002. Three more hit
singles from their second album, Move Along, followed with When The World Comes Down and the most recent, Kids in The Street,
following. They played a show on the Belvedere back in October 2006, so
maybe they have some fans here already. They'll be at Expo 5 on May 12,
along with the Massachusetts-based Rocket To The Moon opening. Should be a crowd.
