Louisville Deathfest - sounds inviting, no? It's not a horror movie fan gathering, it's a gathering of fans of death metal, eager to hear a slew (but not slain nor slaying) death metal bands. It all happens at the Vernon Club on July 28, and features the following bands: Voyage Of Slaves, Mangled Atrocity, Rivers Of Nihil, End It With A Shotgun, Kataplexy, Gorgy, Visceral Disgorge, Anagnorisis, Gorgasm and Littledidweknow. There's a $20 ticket.
