Blues fans who had tickets for the October 8 Jonny Lang show, which was rescheduled for May 12, should be feeling somewhat conflicted, given that Bonnie Raitt is playing Whitney Hall on May 13, with Marc Cohn opening. Imagine those hay piles, donkey - two Grammy-winning guitars to chose from. Of course, you could see both. if you have the energy. You already spent the money on Lang back in October, so the tickets to see Raitt fall into the 2012 expenses. Yeah! Then again, Raitt outranks Lang in the Grammy department by a 9-to-1 ratio, but Bonnie has a few years on him. Either way, you can fill your ears will all the fine blues guitar licks you can stand at either show. They sing pretty well, too. We should not neglect Cohn, ("Walking In Memphis") who is headliner quality himself. It makes the tickets to see the pair, set at $54.50 - $89, a bit more palatable.
