David Allan Coe will back in town on June 8! If memory serves, since Jim Porter's closed, he's not made it back here. Maybe age is a factor, as Coe is 78 and the rigors of touring can take a toll. Of course, it's not like he hasn't lived hard, because he has. Be that as it may, he's got a huge stack of recordings to draw material from, including the most famous tunes, "Take This Job and Shove It" and "You Never Even Called Me By My Name."
