Matthew Sweet came out of the Athens scene back in the Eighties and got national attention with 1991's Girlfriend. Since then, he's released a steady stream of records that helped him build up a solid fanbase.  His most recent project, Tomorrow Forever, was funded by 800 of those fans via Kickstarter.
