The  Louisville Rock Lottery happens at Headliners Music Hall on January 14, which features members of various bands joining up in different groups and creating music. It was organized by Craig Pfunder, formerly of VHS Or Beta, who has been back in town for a year or so. He got the idea while participating in a Rock Lottery in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 2012; the original idea came from a player in Denton, Texas, back in  1997 (which confirms Mark Twain' famous comment about Kentucky.) Below is a list of the players for this event, who will join up in five groups and write three new tunes each. Tickets are $12/$15. Could be fabulous, could be less so, but will certainly be entertaining.
