Hed (pe) hauls it back to town with a stop at Diamond Pub on December 5, playing what they call G-punk, a mixture of punk and gangsta rap. Hardly unusual these days, but then, almost everything is derivative. They have an audience here, having played a number of different venues over the past few years. (Note that leader Jared Gomes seems to have given up the face paint.) Opening are Boombox Poets, Lame and Untold Rellik. Tickets are only $5, cheap. Here's a recent video for "Pay Me":
