Brown County's The Reverend Peyton s Big Damn Band heads into the Mercury Ballroom on November 10, for one of their 250 or so roots / alt Country / blues shows they do every year, which might be called "working for a living." Peyton is steeped in old-timey-ish music, to the degree that he plays a 1930 steel-bodied National guitar, a 1934 wood-bodied National Trojan Resonator guitar and a 1994 reproduction of a 1929 Gibson acoustic. Record scratches optional. Their latest record is 2015's So Delicious. They have bunch more, too - take extra cash money. The Supersuckers and Jesse Dayton will open. Tickets are $10.
